iPod – Wordsworth

I’m still buying word games like crazy, they’re just such fun timewasters. Last night I grabbed a copy of Wordsworth for $0.99. If you are familiar with Bookworm then you know exactly how to play Wordsworth. You are presented with a board full of letters and you need to click tiles to spell words. The longer the word, the more points you get. The game play between the two is very similar with multiple levels, a relaxed “classic” or “timed” play. There is no disputing that Bookwork is a fun game, I’ve played the PC version a lot in my day, but at $4.99 it’s just too overpriced for my tastes. At $0.99, Wordsworth offers basically the same game at a much more reasonable price. Maybe Popcap will get the hint and lower the price of their game.

If you like word games then this should definitely be on your list. And you seriously can’t beat the price.
