iOS4.2 coming this Friday at 10am

I thought iOS4.2 was going to be available yesterday, but it looks like it will be here on Friday. It also sounds like a new version of iTunes – 10.1 – will also be available and necessary if you want to get the latest updates.

A developer buddy of mine has the 4.2 final beta and likes it quite a bit. He doesn’t see issues with the battery draining as quickly I did with the initial 4.0 release on my Touch. I think I’ll let him run the full 4.2 for a little while and see how it goes before I make any decisions to upgrade. I kind of like my iPad just the way it is.
