Audials has released the latest version of Audials One and it can be had for a 50% discount with a price of $19. Audials One is the combination app that lets you capture music, video and your screen. In addition, it features the ability to listen to Internet Radio from all over the world. Also, there is a converter tool that works with both video and audio files. And finally, it features a music search and music wishlist function. Put in the name of an artist or album, and Audials will go searching for it. All in all, it’s quite impressive. The 2017 edition will be my fourth upgrade. I use Audials One to record streaming music, to extract the audio from video files and have recorded a few shows with the streaming capture feature. It’s music and video management is quite good, comparable to MediaMonkey, although it’s not as adept at generating thumbnails for video files. If you listen […]

Time to Upgrade to Audials One 12 Just $19

The new version of Audials One has been out for awhile, but I haven’t jumped to the upgrade yet mostly because I’ve been waiting for a sale. The $39 upgrade price that the Audials site offers isn’t bad, certainly better than the $80 for a new copy, but that’s still a bit steep for me. Well, the waiting is over. Avanquest has come out with an offer to upgrade to Audials One 12 for a mere $19. You can’t for a lot more than that can you? In case you were wondering, Audials One is a pretty impressive Swiss Army Knife when it comes to digital media. It’s a combination of Audials MovieBox, TuneBite and RadioTracker. But it does more than just play music, videos and tune into radio stations. You can just as easily record music from sites like Pandora and Grooveshark, download videos from YouTube and extract the audio track as an MP3 and you can capture video […]

Building a Media Center with Audials One

Now that I’m making progress on organizing all the files on my drives, I need some way to actually find them. Like I said, I now have 14 drives connected to a single system so finding the right movie, TV episode or song is a bit of a challenge. Yes, I can drill down once I find the right drive, but I want something a little simpler. Audials is helping me with that part of the task. I’ve sent Audials to scan every drive in my system looking for video and music files. That alone took a hot minute, but now that it’s done, I can type in the name or partial name of a file and find what I’m looking for without having to search every drive. I have a mixture of .wma, .mp3, .avi, .mkv and .mp4 and Audials handles each file type without issue. Things seem to be working pretty well so far. I’m still moving files […]

Video Capture from Applian and Audials – Replay Media Capture and Audials One 11

There comes a time when you need to download and or record your streaming media. The Tour de France is a prime example. So how do you go about such an endeavor? Well, Applian Video Capture and Audials One 11 will do the trick. I’ve actually recorded every stage of the Tour using Audlais and it works like a champ. Sure, it’s a long process since you have to play the entire 5-8 hour stage, but I’m on board with that. I either watch and record or set the computer to play overnight and save my recording in the morning. So far it’s been working extremely well and once you get the right settings dialed in, it’s a one-click process. To let you in on the secret or perhaps the joke, I have the entire Applian Replay Capture Suite, the Jaksta Deluxe Bundle and Audials One 11. There’s nothing I can’t record! So why bring all this up? Both Applian […]
