Downloading Channels and Playlists with 4K Video Downloader

Downloading videos off YouTube is no major undertaking. There are more apps and plugins to grab videos than you can shake a stick at. However, things get a little more tricky when you want to download all the videos from a channel or in a playlist. My favorite tool for downloading videos is Freemake Video Downloader, but over the past few months and releases some of the features have fallen to the wayside, specifically it’s ability to download playlists. It used to have this feature, but it either no longer works or has been completely removed. Either way, feeding it a playlist URL won’t give you what you want. Say Goodbye to Winamp. Aol pulls the plug on the venerable media player

Sadly, the days of Winamp are numbered and it won’t see the light of the New Year. Aol had decided that after 15 years it’s just not worth the effort anymore. I truly hope you aren’t asking what Winamp is, but in case you are, it’s arguably the best MP3 out there. In fact, it was one of the original ones and ultimately got consumed by Aol. It brought plugins, virtualizers and even skinning to the world of music and apps. I remember using the original versions and still have it installed today. If I’m listening to music, Winamp is playing it. It’s disappointing to see the life of such a cool program come to an end. It was also one of the best ways to listen to Shoutcast and tune in to thousands of Internet based radio stations. Maybe there is still time for someone to come along and pick up the code.
