Damn you IE!

I started a new job with a Microsoft shop and as you may expect IE is the default browser. And, as you may expect, I hate the damn thing. I kicked IE6 to the curb years ago after Microsoft had decided it didn’t need to update it anymore. I jumped on board the new Firefox 2 with tabbed browsing and dozens of other cool features. I’ve never looked back.

There’s just so much I don’t like. I miss my plguins. I don’t like the layout. And quite frankly I’ve just never been that big of a fan of IE. It wasn’t bad when it was pitted against Netscape, even though I thought Netscape was in fact the better browser. But now compared to the features and extensibility of the host of other browsers out there IE just seems lacking.
