Big F(U) for BestBuy and their ability to deliver appliances

So, to take a slight detour from my normal writings, I wanted to relate a story about BestBuy and another less than stellar experience I had with them. I don't simply want to shame BestBuy for the catastrophically bad job they did, but to highlight several lessons that can and should have been learned. The story starts with an appliance delivery. BestBuy had a good deal on a washer and dryer set, so I bought them for Black Friday. As I'm sure many people did. The problem comes right as they deliver the units. Best Buy has 15% and 20% Off iTunes Gift Cards

Best Buy is having a nice little sale. You can save 15% on iTunes cards if you go their website and if you’re a Rewards Member you get 20% off the Gift Cards when you log into the RewardsZone website. Not a bad deal. I bought the $100 card last time they had a sale and saved $20. Might have to do that again. BestBuy, you suck too!

Here is a little story about my trials and tribulations with BestBuy and how the simple process of trying to get an iPod repaired turned into proof that BestBuy doesn’t care one bit about their customers and will take every opportunity to make money of their victims even when they’re the ones at fault. Here’s the problem: I bought a 16GB iPod Touch at the end of July and it has been a very fun and useful device. However, it developed a slight problem with the left side of the screen becoming non-responsive. It could still play music, videos and games, but buttons in this area didn’t work. No problem, I’ll take it back and get it replaced, I have a warranty for it. That’s where we hit problem #1. They didn’t replace it; they shipped it off to be repaired.
