iOS4 is coming to town
It should be no surprise now that iOS4.2 is available for download. And while I’m sure there are lots of people all excited and giddy over the release I have to say I’m going to let this one sit for awhile before I upgrade. I’ll go ahead and update my iPod Touch since it already has 4.1 installed, but for now, I’m going to stick with iOS3 on the iPad. I’ve seen the latest version working on the iPad and while the folders and task switching is useful it really doesn’t do anything for me. Unlike the iPod where I’ve installed every app I could get my hands on, I’ve been very selective about which apps stay on the iPad. In fact I’ve been pruning apps away and slowly scaling it down to only the most used programs. Many games have fallen to the wayside so folders really aren’t a big deal to me.
