Stardock Discount Code – 50% Off – STARDOCK50

Here’s a little Thanksgiving treat for you. Stardock is offering a pretty hefty 50% off coupon good for ALL their products. This can be used for games, individual products as well as renewals and themes. This can be used to get an ObjectDesktop subscription or it can be used to get cool programs like WindowsBlinds or Start8, programs that are really a must have to fix the hideous UI elements of the Metro UI in Windows 8. Just add the items to your cart and use STARDOCK50 as the coupon code. You’re good to go. I have Windowblinds and Start8 on my laptop for Windows 8 and it covers up that terrible UI and gives you something much better to work with. Too bad Microsoft doesn’t just stuff Windowblinds in the OS, it would make things a lot easier on all of us.

Dead Man’s Draw from Stardock Comes to the PC by way of Steam

Stardock has just released a Windows based version of Dead Man’s Draw which they debuted on the iPad a few months ago. You can get the complete version with no in-app purchases all the Traits ready to play for $9.99 on Steam. I bought the iOS version and think it’s a brilliant game. The Traits and Tournaments make the game incredibly interesting with each player and their unique way to play. Also, trying to decide if it’s worth picking up the next card to improve your score or hit a combo can make for some nerve racking games. When Stardock first released Dead Man’s Draw, I wondered whether it would come out as a PC game. Well, here’s the answer. They’re deliver the game on Steam and it’s only $9.99. It just released a couple of hours ago and I’m off to buy a copy. Dead Man’s Draw on Steam How it Works Players take turns drawing cards in search […]

Dead Man’s Draw Free for a Limited Time

If you haven’t picked up a copy of this new card game, now’s your chance. The game is complete FREE to install. How frustrating since I paid $1.99 just a a week or so ago. But it’s money well spent since this is a simple but fun card game. I’ve had a lot of fun playing this game and have made quite a bit of progress. There is a lot of variation to the games and the traits can make for some very unique game play. And while I’m no fan of in-app purchases, I haven’t find it to be a real problem with this game. I’m just rolling along, getting gold, refilling traits and doing my best to get 3 stars in each tournament. Overall, I really like this game and enjoy it immensely. It’s well worth the $1.99, so you need to jump all over this since it’s Free! Dead Man’s Draw by Stardock

Dead Man’s Draw by Stardock – Finally, a card game that isn’t poker

I’ve been a long time fan of Stardock, more specifically for their addons to Windows such as Windowblinds, CursorFX and ObjectDock. But apart from customizing Windows, Stardock has a long history of making games – Galactic Civilization, Sins of a Solar Empire and Fallen Enchantress. But the mobile space hasn’t been their focus, until now. Stardock kicks off their mobile catalog with an interesting game called, Dead Man’s Draw. Now, despite what it may sound like, this isn’t a poker game. And that’s not a bad thing. The App Store is clogged with hundreds of variations of Texas Hold Em and Celebrity Poker. And while some of them aren’t too bad, enough is enough. Texas Hold Em has been done to DEATH! Whatever happened to Draw Poker? Anyway, Dead Man’s Draw is insanely simply. At least to start. The object is to draw as many cards as you like. Your score is based on the total mount of the cards […]
