Let’s Play Zombie Driver HD!

I really like having a separate machine set up to play games. And since the Steam sale has robbed me of all my money I jumped in and checked out some of the loot I walked away with. That brought me to Zombie Driver HD. Several months back I wrote about Gears and Guts, a wonderfully gory driving game for the iPad where you drive missions to dispatch the zombie horde that’s invaded the city. It was a really good game that was utterly ruined by in-app purchases. I had so much fun playing that game then got fuming mad when I couldn’t get any further without spending loads of real cash. Zombie Farm is back in action

Zombie Farm has pushed out a new update which seems to fix the crashing and load issues with the game. I downloaded my update this morning and everything is running smoothly again. One thing I have noticed, not sure if this is a glitch or not, but the Play button takes a very long time to become active. When the game starts that side panel is dark and can’t be selected. After about a minute it lights up and I can click Play. Anyone else seeing this? I’m playing this on an iPad with iOS 3.2. Anyway, the game is alive again so knock off all that whining and download the latest patch. I give ThePlayForge full credit for their efforts. They goofed and make a mistake, but then kicked it into overdrive to fix it. And for a FREE game!! It’s time to show a little appreciation…

Left 4 Dead and L4D2 on sale for $6.79 or $10.19 for the bundle!

Speaking of the zombie apocalypse… Left4Dead and Left4Dead 2 (PC version) are both on sale at Steam. Each is only $6.79 which is a massive savings unto itself, but if you buy the bundle it’s only $10.19. I’m not really sure how you can resist! Looks like they went and broke Zombie Farm

Looks like the latest update to Zombie Farm has sent things right into the toilet. I just updated to the latest version and now the game won’t start. Guess I should have read the reviews before jumping to a new version as everyone is having this problem. Oh well, can’t really complain. Sure it’s a hassle but the game is free and I’m sure they’ll have it worked out by tomorrow. It’s certainly not worth going to iTunes and giving the app a one star rating. That’s just mean to kick them while they’re down. Not very sportsman like people. Ironically, I updated WordPress and it was causing problems too. I had to remove my blog and add it back again. It kept throwing an error about bad username or password. I guess I picked a hell of a day to upgrade. Keep your pants on people, it’ll all work out tomorrow.
