Time to download Win7 RC

I’ve been totally underwhelmed with Windows 7 thus far, but I’m certainly willing to download the latest release and see how it works. I’m happy to see Microsoft actually giving out the betas to people rather than the closed door cycle they normally go through. I can’t say there is any new feature I can’t live without. So far, nothing inside of Win7 is compelling as an upgrade. I don’t have the absolute latest and greatest and some of the niceties it offers I already have through various freeware and low cost apps.

Be Careful!

You really have to be careful with just blurting out the phrase, “Is it safe to touch it?!” People stop what they’re doing and look.

This is maddening!

These server problems are driving me nuts! The server has been acting nutty for the past few days. HTTP connections have been dog slow or even non-existent at times. Packets were dropping and pages wouldn’t load. After trying all sorts of things I now have the server plugged directly into the DSL modem. It seems the damn router is causing me issues. With that out of the way, connection has been restored and the pages are loading quite quickly. Well this sucks now I have to figure out what’s wrong with the damn router. But at least the server is back up and running.

Feel the burn

The trainer has beat me down. It’s so much fun to ride, but egad, I’ve never ridden so hard in my life. And just think, I paid good money for this sort of abuse.

Phew, that was intense!
