Theo just made me watch William Shatner’s interpretation of RocketMan from the 70’s during some sort of crazed awards show. Dear God, who the hell does he think he is? This is Shatnet overacting at its most demonic. It’s scary! I couldn’t watch the whole thing, I had to bail out when they started doing split screens and Shatnet was looking like he was going to cry he was so moved by how he was speaking the lines. The Pirate Bay takes one in the pills as well
It didn’t come from the EU, but it looks like The Pirate Bay needs to come up with some cash too. The bill collector is at the door and they need to come up with half the money they owe from fines. They told their loyal fan base not to send in any money because they weren’t going to pay any stinkin’ fines. Even though they plan to file an appeal I wonder if their assets will get frozen and the site will get unplugged. They might need to hit the streets with a tin cup to try and raise some cash.
Intel gets kicked in the nuts
Damn, the EU jumps off the top rope and slams Intel with a billion dollar fine for shutting out AMD. It couldn’t possibly be the fact that AMD has been lagging behind Intel in development for the past couple of years or the fact that they keep coming late to the game when it comes to speed and features. Or that Intel has now made the Core i7 with over-clockers in mind and you can ratchet that baby up to some impressive speeds. Normally the EU reserves this kind of ass kicking for Microsoft. I guess they decided Intel needed to pony up some cash.
