Countdown to Angels & Demons

I’m getting excited, going to see Angels & Demons this weekend. Might go for a double header and see the Star Trek film while I’m out. My Star Trek fan days are way behind me, but I’m curious to see how Simon Pegg will handle the role of Scotty. Seems so out of character for him based on his previous exploits in such greats as Shaun of the Dead.

I need a new machine

I’ve been trying to do some work with video and realize now just how underpowered my machine really is. For general work, web, photos, etc it’s perfectly fine, I don’t need much processing power, but as soon as I try anything with a large file size, especially video everything becomes painfully slow.

Deception Point

Ok, that was a cool story, with plenty of amusing bits at the end. There is no doubt Dan Brown’s stories are a little far fetched and highly improbable, but then again, that’s what makes show like 24, Burn Notice, the A-Team and MacGyver so damn fun to watch. These stories have that same cliffhanger style, a plan with a one in a million shot of working, and coincidence that defies explanation. But then again, that’s exactly why we like ’em.

If I ever get to this point

It’s time to take me out back and shoot me. I just wouldn’t be good to anyone. I’m not sure what kind of statement this chap is trying to make, but I doubt I would agree with it. Just remember kids, the damage the drugs do to your brain will eventually catch up with you.
