Errands are a part of daily life. Shopping at numerous stores, going to the bank, the video store, the post office, the auto mechanic, picking up something from a friend. The list goes on and on.

Errands (the app) is a wonderful tool to organize and track your daily errands. It is not meant to replace your standard method(s) of organizing your life — it is specifically tailored to track those things you do when you are out and about, away from home, on the go.

Errands can be sorted by priority, alphabetically or manually (whatever order you choose).

You can select from a built-in collection of stock images, choose a photo from your library, or take a new photo to customize your errands.

A unique feature allows notes to be viewed as a checklist. This is particularly handy for small shopping lists, etc.

Errands can be scheduled with a due-date and/or set to repeat at preset intervals when they are completed.

A convenient Recycle Bin allows you to easily create new errands from previously completed errands. This is a big time-saver given that many errands are things that are done again (and again). And saving data-bits from the virtual landfill makes you feel good!

Each errand has a title along with separate detail and notes fields.

For those errands you can’t get to today, just click “Put Off Until Tomorrow”.

View Active errands (default) or All errands (including Active, Scheduled and Completed).

Many features are customizable: Sort Order, Show Priority, App Icon Badge, Appearance (multiple colors and font choices for the text on the main view), and Confirmations.

HOW TO GET THE MOST FROM ERRANDS

Use the Recycle Bin! Take your time to create meaningful errands with customized photos and descriptive text and notes. Most errands are things you’ll find yourself doing again at some point. When that time comes, just bring up the Recycle Bin and you’re ready to go.

Avoid the temptation to use Errands as a general to-do app (there are other tools for that).

Tell your friends about Errands. The more people that purchase it, the more I am encouraged to keep providing feature updates.
