+3 Drive of Holding!

I had no intention of getting one. Hell, I didn’t even know they were out. But there it was, sitting on the shelf, giving me the come hither look. It’s marked down price and ease of installation. A 3TB external drive in sexy wrapping just waiting for me to take it home and have my way with it. I simply couldn’t resist its charms and snatched it up and indeed had my way with it. I wasted no time in getting it hooked up and started copying hundreds of gigs over to it. Now I admit, a lot of the stuff I have is complete junk and should be deleted before the year is over, but I have dozens of movies and TV shows all converted to AVI and MP4 so I can watch them on my iPad. I really hate in-app purchases

I’ve really come to hate the in-app purchase and wish Apple would once again do away with it. I’m sick to death of seeing an app for $4.99 or $0.99 or even free and then come to find out to actually get the stupid thing to work or to get the really good functionality you need to spend even more. For example, where did this idea of charging for themes come from? ToDo is now doing that as well as the Mercury Web Browser. Or recipe apps that are free or a good price but then require you to purchase the actual recipes for an additional fee? Or games like ZombieFarm that all but force you to buy "upgrades" to make the game playable. And what the hell is with Electronic Arts making it so you can buy bounty in Hot Pursuit?
