Well, by the clock on the wall we’re all still here. I’ve seen no meteors, or aliens, or felt tremors, or seen tidal waves, or any of the other usual signs of the apocalypse. But, it’s still early. Plenty of time for carnage and destruction. In the mean time I shall be ever diligent, keep a watchful eye and make sure this bottle of vodka doesn’t go anywhere.

Well, I’m sort of glad that event is over. I didn’t fare so well in that one. I manged to get through the Thugs, Informants and even a couple of Hitmen, but the reward wasn’t worth it. I got a couple Eviscerating Blades, but the rest wasn’t all that great. The bullets were more of a pain in the ass than they were worth and the failure rate was shockingly high. I’ve liked the other events, but this one really wasn’t my thing. It’s a free contest so I can’t complain too much. Back to building up my defenses.
EA has put everything in their catalog on sale for $0.99. I just bought Need for Speed Most Wanted and Monopoly Millionaire. I’ve got just about everything else in their catalog from previous sales. If you haven’t picked up copies of Monopoly, Need for Speed, Yahtzee or any of the games in the EA Sports line, now is the time to act.
