EA is making a royal mess of things

I haven’t exactly been impressed with EA over the past several months and they’re iPad offerings. And now they really seem to have made a mess of things. To start at the beginning, games like Monopoly, while decent are exceedingly overpriced. The same is true for Scrabble and Yahtzee. Those are simple casual games and they can’t seem to get them right. But when you couple that with some poor game play, excessive bugs and bad updates and it’s no wonder EA is screwing up on titles like Battlefield 3 and Simpson: Tapped Out. I haven’t even looked at Monopoly Hotels because I’m totally against in-app purchases. Here’s the problem, stop making these piece of crap Freemium games! Nobody wants them and they’re aggravating as hell! Make a decent game and charge me a fair price for it. XYplorer Lifetime License Pro–50% discount

If you’re looking for a high quality file manager then XYplorer is well worth looking into. I bought this last time BitsDuJour had it on sale and have been impressed with how it works. In fact, this is the type of file manager that should have been built into Windows in the first place. 16GB for less than $100

We got some new memory for the laptops in the office, which lead me to ponder the idea of upgrading my machine at home. It’s already got 8GB of Ram, but as the wise man said, you can never have enough. On a whim, (that is the catch phrase that usually costs me the most money), I checked out the motherboard and it can indeed take 16GB of Ram. Well hell son, let’s check this out! Getting Ready for the 25 Billionth iTunes Download

Sure, it may be as unlikely as playing the lottery, but you have to try right? And, unlike the lottery, I actually get something out of this deal. I’m picking the apps I’m going to buy as close to the 25 billion mark as I can. I’m going to throw caution to the wind and spend a staggering $5 in the hopes of winning $10,000. The odds are with me right? What could possibly go wrong? Wow, 25 billion downloads. Just think, it was January 2011 when Apple only had 10 billion. They’re racking up quick! So, if by some stretch of the imagination I don’t get the $10k prize, what’s the first thing you’ll do with it?
