Ticket to Ride on sale for $1.99

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this game, but haven’t ever played. Now, with the price dropping to $1.99 I’ve already downloaded a copy and look forward to checking it out. I love train games so we’ll have to see how this game stacks up. But looks like tons of Christmas sales in the wings. Ticket to Ride

Gears and Guts – Look at the Carnage!!!

It’s Blood on the Highway Baby!!! The graphics and description made me want to give this one a try and the resultant splatterfest has left me with a huge smile on my face! The main point of Gears and Guts is to survive the zombie horde and you do so by outfitting your various cars with massive weapons and armor. You then drive missions to earn bolts, extra armor, cars and other prizes. It’s part driving Sim, part juvenile antics of running things over. But damn is it entertaining. The large spinning blades you attach to the door panels pulverize the zombies, while the rocket launcher on the room blows them limb from limb. It takes a little while to get going, but pretty soon you can be behind the wheel of a hazmat truck, fire truck, cement mixer, hearse or one of the many other mechanized weapons of death the game offers. The graphics are simple, but well done. […]

Jalapeno Vodka – Spicy!

I was reading about Master of Malts creating a spicy vodka using the Naga Jolokia pepper or Ghost Pepper and it sounded like one hell of an idea. Then I watched the reaction videos and it didn’t seem quite so funny anymore. Having a red nose and slurring your speech from drinking is one thing, but when that happens because you can’t breath due to the stinking hot vapors of the Ghost Pepper, it’s not so good. But the idea struck me, how do you make a spicy vodka? Field Trip! Of to the liquor store to see what they have. It came as no surprise to find the Absolut Peppar, but then things got a little weird. It wasn’t the pepper flavors, but the cookie dough, cotton candy, cream pie, key lime pie, whipped cream and other unholy flavors that have been infused into vodka. And indeed, there was bacon. That’s just not cricket. So back to the […]

Bay City Mob War – Crime City

Well that didn’t take long. A new event has cropped up in Crime City and I’m not sure if I like it or not. For the new Bay City Mob War you need to find a Mob Bullet and a Snitch Note. Now I have to go around looking for two separate items and the bullets get used up at least two at a time. I easily see running out of supplies before this one is over. I’ve managed to grab 15 notes and 10 bullets so we’ll see how long that lasts. It’s free items and I should be doing the jobs anyway. Will I get through 5 thugs today???
