Dirt 2, Shadowplay, Sony Movie Studio and Car Crashes

I previously wrote about Nvidia Shadowplay and how easy it was to capture game play video. Well, I decided to put that to the test. I also wanted to mess around with Sony Movie Studio and thought this would be a good time to put the two together.

Dirt 2 is incredibly fun and is my personal favorite out of the three (Dirt 2, Dirt 3, Dirt Showdown). But not all the stages go according to plan and I find myself in a few awkward predicaments. I decided to put some of those blunders together to not only showcase my driving but learn some new software at the same time.

Here is a compilation of some of my greatest follies. Now, unlike so many other videos, I’m not trying to crash the car. I’m actually trying to win the stage and drive as hard and as fast as I can. Sometimes cutting the corner doesn’t always work out to my advantage or waiting until the last moment to brake was one moment too long. But I’m not always at fault. There are plenty of times when the other drives crash into me or make a move that pushes me off the course.

Anyway, here’s a 2 part compilation of me driving around in Dirt 2. If you have a couple of minutes to spare, check it out and let me know what you think. And before you berate me too much over my driving, I’ve already completed the game once with a 1st place in every event. I’m going through again on a harder level to challenge myself.

It's bad luck to be superstitious.
