Massive Black Friday Sale on Steam

It should go without saying there is a massive Black Friday sale going on over at Steam with thousands of games on sale. There are top sellers and indie titles all looking to get added to your cart. Far too many to list, but you can grab some great titles like: Banished Besiege Hand of Fate Left 4 Dead Mount and Blade Windward Savage Lands Wolfenstein Medieval Engineers And so many others for $10 or less. My personal pick would be to grab Banished, Besiege and Windward, all of which are at the $5 point. That is some serious fun to be had.

Piriform updates CCleaner and offers 66% off Professional Plus Edition

We have yet another special going for a product I’m quite impressed with. CCleaner is a great app for sweeping away all the junk Internet traces and cookies that websites are so fond of spewing across our hard drives and for most people the free version gets the job done. And let’s not forget there is also the free version of Defraggler and Recuva. If you recall I’ve had to call up the services of Recuva once or twice in my fits of cleaning up my hard drive. And again,there are free versions of all these apps. Free versions that don’t have any real limitations or ads. So why pay for a full version when the free version is perfectly fine? Notebooks for iPad, Windows and Mac – Good apps, Nice discount

So, back at the end of 2010, I got a newcomer notetaking app called Notebooks for iPad. I was desperately looking for something that came close to the power and usability of OneNote, which is still my favorite writing app. Notebooks for iPad turned out to be a great find and not only do I still have it installed, I still use it on a regular basis. While I still think OneNote is the unsung hero of the Office Suite, there are some issues. It’s only been recently that Microsoft has done any serious work on OneNote for iPad and even then, it’s not exactly thrilling. Also, OneNote has only recently broken free from Office and not can you easily get it standalone, but it’s now free. While this is excellent news, the .One format isn’t exactly the easiest thing to work with. Only OneNote can read it. It’s not like a .Doc file that anything more powerful than Notepad […]

So there are plenty of Defrag and Internet cache cleaning tools out there, but if you don’t already have something in your toolbox, then O&O is offering a sweet deal. You can pick up their highly usable Defrag tool or go All-In and grab a PowerPack which features Defrag, SafeErase, DiskImage and AutoBackup. Since I already have CCleaner Professional Plus, I’m covered on most fronts, however, the PowerPack is still a great bundle since you get O&O DiskImage which I use to make an image of my C:\ drive on a weekly basis and AutoBackup which I use to sync external hard drives. Winx DVD Copy Pro Halloween discount for $9.95 by Digiarty

So there are lots of DVD Rippers and Copy tools around, but getting a good one that will actually stay updated usually sets you back a small fortune. I just came across this great deal for Winx DVD Copy Pro by Digiarty for $9.95 as part of a massive Halloween sale. Yes, Halloween is over, but the spirit lives on! If you go to the main Digiarty page you can see the Promotions menu which gives a good deal on the Winx DVD Ripper, but DVD Copy Pro isn’t on there. I actually found this on the page about their Blu Ray player. You can jump straight to it and pick up the full version which includes all planned updates. If you like, you can grab the Giveway copy which will certainly work for now, provided you install it quick enough, but it doesn’t come with any updates. $10 is a heck of a deal for a DVD cloning tool.
