Time to get some road rash in Road Redemption

In my want for blatant vehicle destruction, I took a spin with Road Redemption, another Early Access title that harkens back to the games of old. Remember the chain-wielding, pipe swinging, boot kicking days of Road Rash? Road Redemption will put you back in that mindset. This is another title that will have you cackling wildly and yelling at the monitor as you work to take down your opponents while keeping out of reach so you don’t take a drain pipe to the head. This is in no way a motorcycle or racing simulator. This ain’t MotoGP baby! What you do get is a wild ride through the countryside with a bunch of other hooligans while you use whatever means are at your disposal to put yourself in first place. Forget about rules. Next Car Game: Wreckfest

There’s been an update to Next Car Game, an actual Race Track and a slight variant that makes it into a very large Figure-8. There has also been the addition of multiplayer. It’s been awhile since I got behind the wheel of this one and I’m surprised I been away so long. This game is an utter riot to play! The chances of your getting T-Boned or slammed headlong into the barrier wall are so high that it’s more of a surprise when it doesn’t happen! This is not a precision racing experience. First of all the cars are far from the high performance machines or other games. They are big, rusty, rear wheel drive clunkers that just might give you tetanus just by looking at them. CCleaner v5.0 with a new look, new tools and a price discount

The new version of CCleaner v5.0 is out with some new tools and a new look. I’m all for the new tools, cleaning power and performance increase, but can we please stop following the Microsoft design of making apps look like Windows 8. The Metro UI looks like the vomitous mass from a 5 year old with a box 5 colored crayons. It’s a hideous UI and people really need to stop cloning it. But that aside, the new version of CCleaner 5 is out and soon there will be a new Defraggler. I wouldn’t be surprised if Speccy and Recuva also got a new release, even if it is for the UI. Black Friday Deals for O&O Software Products. 50% Off Entire Catalog

The Black Friday Specials are coming in faster than I can read/delete them. A couple of good ones caught my eye like the entire O&O Software catalog on sale for 50% Off. That is a pretty sweet deal considering it covers O&O Defrag, O&O DiskImage, O&O SafeErase and others. These guys make some really good software not only to keep your system running smoothly, but to resurrect it from the dead if something goes wrong. O&O DiskImage is a personal favorite of mine to take snapshots of the entire drive so all I have to do is boot from the Recovery CD and restore the image. I’ve actually had to do this more than once and it’s incredibly easy to use and restored all my files perfectly.
