Epic Boss Event Prizes and Syndicate Rewards – Crime City

It’s a relentless stream of events in Crime City, almost to the point of being monotonous and a grind, but the prizes have been pretty high end. The pace is pretty grueling, but these rewards have had a big impact on my character. Not to mention this latest Epic Boss Event and the tiered reward structure. I got my 100 wins in within 48 hours. Life and work got in the way of me completing the 24, but I’m not going to quibble. I’ve managed to pick up the big gun, the big car, another big gun and now 4 of the Specter Faulds. Not a bad haul over these last few events, but damn I wish Gree would take a break. Do we really have to multiple event running every day of the week? Come on, how about some down time? How about just one event a week and maybe you take a week off? I’m all for playing […]

Underground Casino Limited Time Building (LTB) – Building Payout and Upgrade Cost – Crime City

Gree has thrown out another Limited Time Building (LTB) called the Underground Casino and it doesn’t come cheap. The initial cost if $100 million with a payout of $425k every 8 hours. If you want to take this one the distance it will cost you $25 Billion without any modifiers. Your final payout will be almost $13 Million every 8 hours. So, if you can make 3 collections per day that nets you $39 Million per day. With some modifiers in place you can cut the build down to $12 Billion and increase the payout to $51 Million per day. And the prize for all your hard work is All-In for Atk23,313/28,493Def with 1% Melee attack Now, this isn’t quite on par with the payouts we see with the Diamond Grillz and the Haunted Church, but it’s not a bad payout overall. I had hoped we would get a break for a few more days and then get something more […]

SpinTire for Sale on Steam – 40% Off

Here’s something for the holidays (yes, Halloween is a holiday!) SpinTires is on sale at Steam for 40% Off. This brings the price down to $17.99 from the regular $30. That’s not too shabby. If you haven’t seen SpinTires, it’s an offroad adventure full of heavy duty military trucks converted to the logging business. The goal is to explore the map, carry out tasks (such as loading lumber) and not get stuck. The getting stuck part is probably the hardest to avoid. Now, before we get too far, this is indeed a slow paced game. This isn’t racing. Not only is the top speed a mere crawl since you’re in an 8 wheeled transport rig, but the terrain is insanely difficult, full of trees, rivers and mud that will try to swallow you whole. The countryside will blur by at a blistering 8-10mph if you’re lucky. But that’s not the point. It’s all about exploring the landscape and testing your […]

A few more titles from the Steam Weeklong Sale – And a little bit of Plague

Apparently I’m a sucker for the 99 cent game. I was checking out the titles in the Steam Weeklong sale and found a couple of items that just jumped into my cart. Post Apocalyptic Mayhem (PAM), it’s DLC, Knights and Merchants and the whimsical little title called Trainz Trouble. Yes, I’m a sucker for train games as well. But hey, for a couple of dollars it looks like these could keep me entertained for quite awhile. It’s out of control cars and trains, who doesn’t want a piece of that action? Of course there are still games like Arms Dealer to be investigated and I still need to get past the Necroa Virus in Plague. I’ve tried that damn level a dozen times now and I still can’t infect everyone. I thought I had it on my last attempt wherein I sent my zombie horde over to Iceland, but Z-Com set up a base in Poland and no matter how […]

More Steam Early Access Titles – The Forest and Killing Floor

My list of Early Access games just keeps growing and growing. I just added The Forest to my collection. I’m not normally one to play these survival style games, but this looks quite appealing and certainly fits with the Halloween season. The reviews also make it seem quite humorous and bawdy so I’m willing to give it a try. Plus, I like supporting Early Access projects. Another Halloween themed title made it into my cart as well – The Killing Floor – Complete Bundle. Now this just looks nut. It looks like all out carnage and mayhem with a ton of DLC to add to the experience. The whole bundle is mere pennies on the dollar so it’s a really good purchase. I’m actually quite terrible at this style of game as well so I have no illusions that I will be dead time and time again. But it’s all about the experience isn’t it? And finally, a silly little […]
