Amazon Deal of the Day – Burn Notice The Complete Series 66% Off – $50.99

Burn Notice was one of my favorite shows on TV. It was action packed, witty, had some really great characters and of course more government conspiracies than you can shake a stick at. It was a fun 7 year run and for today only (auspicous day to have a sale) Amazon is selling the entire 7 season box set for 66% off. The price is normally $149.98 but has been dropped to $50.99. I checked the site earlier and it showed as Sold Out – this was from the link in the email they sent me. I clicked the Gold Box link on the page and low and behold the Add to Cart button is there. Disco Never Dies – Deadly Disco LTB Cost and Reward List – Crime City

The Chop Up Top Shop event is out so in comes the Disco Never Dies event with the new Deadly Disco building that’s big, ugly and expensive! It’s based off the Beach Nightclub building so it takes up plenty of space, at least 8×7. Check out the figures below, this rascal won’t be cheap. The initial buy-in is $100 million. Without any modifiers the final upgrade cost is $10 billion and the total upgrade cost through all 10 levels is $25 billion. If you have upgrade modifiers you might be about to fully upgrade for a mere $12 billion. And the reward for all the sacks full of cash? The Death by Disco Explosive – 25062 ATK/15364 DEF with +1% stackable explosive attack mod for each upgrade. It’s not a bad weapon, but not worth multiple billions. Anyway, the race is on. I’m Victorious in Need for Speed The Run!

Well my friends it’s a hot Friday night as I complete the final leg of Need for Speed The Run and go barreling into New York amidst a shower of sparks and twisted metal. It’s been one hell of a race across the country, but I managed to complete the 2800+ mile journey and take the win. Wow! What a game! Despite the flaws, The Run has been an incredible amount of fun and the graphics looks really, really good. The total amount of racing has been 2+ hours, but in reality it’s taken me significantly longer to complete the journey. A lot of mistakes were made that resulted in hundreds of Resets to start the stage over again. But that’s been part of the fun. The courses have been a been a challenge without going over the top. Need for Speed The Run – A Quick Review

After several hours behind the wheel, I have to say Need for Speed The Run is pretty damn good fun packed with some wild driving and intense action and unlike many of the other Need for Speed episodes, it’s more than just smashing into the cops. If you remember, I bought Need for Speed The Run on sale a couple of weeks ago in anticipation of the Need for Speed movie. Oddly though, I don’t recall this game getting a lot of publicity when it came out. Or if it did, it seemed to die down quickly. Kind of shame really as The Run has turned out to be a lot of fun and one of my favorites from the series. The premise is simple, start in California and race across the country to be the first to arrive in New York.
