Cover Orange 2 – Pirate Theme Orange Saving Mayhem. You knew it would come to this!

The sequel to Cover Orange has just been released! Cover Orange is one of my favorite casual puzzle games. It has cute graphics, funny little oranges, a great theme and plenty of puzzles to keep you guessing. I thought this was a great game at $1.99 and there have been plenty of opportunities to grab a copy at $0.99 and even for free! But here’s the sequel with even more puzzles and not just dropping items into place. This one has many timing mechanism where you have to drop, roll or move items into the right place once things have been set in motion. There are all new backgrounds, puzzles, themes and even costumes. Yes, you get oranges and acid rain spewing clouds dressed as pirates. Puzzle Pirates for iPad

There is a lot of excitement about this game, but alas, I’ve never heard of it before. Apparently it’s quite well received on the PC, has puzzles to solve, islands to explore, ships to sail and pirates that may or may not sing and may or may not drink rum. Either way, it looks interesting, albeit for a bit of a younger crowd. The graphics look a little Fisher Price if you get my meaning, but that’s OK, I’m willing to look past that. It’s Free to Play and it’s from Sega, both of which have me a little leery. But I’ll give it a god and see what happens. I like puzzle games. I’m not very good at them, but I like them.
