Rocket League – Making it to the playoffs in the first season

I’ve brought a new game into my stable and it’s one that I passed over the first time I saw it. I’m a big fan of racing games, but the idea of combining that with soccer just seemed a little too far out in left field for me. Sure, it looked amusing, but not quite amusing enough. Jump ahead to the Steam Winter Sale and Rocket League is on sale and it has scores of reviews tacked on to it. With over 30,000 reviews it still has an Overwhelmingly Positive rating. How the hell can that be? Ok, let me have another look. And then let me have a real look by checking out some of the videos on YouTube. Zombie Fun on the Zombie Farm

I stumbled across this game over the weekend and I admit I’ve been playing it ever since. I can’t say I’ve played too many farming games, but there is something about growing zombies and zombie mutations that just made me want this game. Zombie Farm is a casual little game where you tend to your farm in the countryside where you grow various vegetables like carrots, tomatoes, onions, turnips and potatoes and then take them to the market to sell for a profit. The way this game works, that alone could be amused, oh but there is so much more. You don’t just grow vegetables you are a farmer with a green thumb and an ability to grow zombies. Huge $0.99 Sale on Electronic Arts Mobile Games!

And I mean huge! In fact, it pisses me off! Need for Speed: Undercover and Need for Speed: Shift are both on sale for $0.99 and I just bought them for $2.99 and 4.99!! Damn you! Man I could saved a ton on those two games alone! But anyway, other games on sale for $0.99 include The Game of Life, Yahtzee, Trivial Pursuit, Madden NFL 10, FIFA 10, Simcity, NBA Live and Tiger Woods. Just getting Need for Speed for $0.99 is worth it! Man! I wish I would have waited a week! But oh well, I’m grabbing a couple games to make up for it! Oh yeah, the sale is only for 48 hours, so get a move on!
