And not in that freaky back of the short bus kind of way

What a colossal mess! My Internet connection went out Sunday night and after spending yesterday and today arguing with them they’ve finally decided to stop blaming me for the problem and have agreed to give in and send me a new DSL modem. Hopefully it will be here in the morning.

Through some strange twist of fate, I managed to get it up (sometimes you really have to concentrate) and get it running again. I guess if you press Reset enough times the device gives in and starts to work. There’s a whole lot of flashing going on and the modem is lighting up too.

I have no idea how long this will last (I say that a lot, it’s kind of embarrassing), but I don’t trust it for a second.
