Commissioner Freeman and Blood Bowl Results

I only made it through Level 11 with Commissioner Freeman. I was all set to try Level 12 when I lost all my Exploding Pigskins. I was robbed in the middle of the night and that was the end of that. I did complete the 500 attacks and got my Sharpened Cleats as a reward. Quite fetching aren’t they? Considering the time and effort it takes to get 500 wins I think they could have been a bit more powerful. I got them for free so I can’t complain. This new gold event they have seems a little ridiculous. Who the hell spends 10,000 gold on this game? No wait, I don’t want to know.

The Room – $0.99

I’ve heard a lot about this game and since the price drop, I might as well get a copy. It looks neat and supposedly has a ton of atmosphere. I enjoy puzzle games and bought the port of Myst when it went on sale several months ago. I have no idea what this game is really about the mystery and intrigue have my interest. I really can’t say no to a $0.99 game. The Room

128GB iPad

I don’t know if a 128GB model will take the world by storm, but it’s about time Apple put one out. iPad games are getting bigger, an entire season of TV takes up a lot of space, and walking around with an entire library of music and books takes up some decent space too. Let’s not kid ourselves, this is a direct response to the Surface having 128GB when it releases in a couple days. But it’s still a good idea and something I’ve been waiting for. In fact, the iPod Touch should have come in a 128GB model a year ago. Considering it is THE music player it should have a lot more space than it does. I won’t be jumping to a 128GB model of the Touch or the iPad right, but when I do go for the next model they will both be 128GB.

The Crime City Blood Bowl

I’ve been picking fights with everyone I can find in order to get the 500 PVP victories and I may actually be in the running. I’ve loaded up on Exploding Pigskins and have a pretty high win rate right now. I’m pretty sure I’ve passed the 500 mark. That is a lot of battles for a single item that in actuality isn’t really that powerful. I mainly want the Pigskins so I can defeat the Commissioner. I’ve managed to get through Level 11 by using these little powerups. I accumulated 17 Pigskins with a really decent attack rating, but before I could really wield my newly found phenomenal cosmic power, I got attacked and lost every damn one of them. The humanity!! The Great iPad Purge

I’ve had my original iPad since 2010 and have installed a ton of apps and games. Sadly, I haven’t removed any of those apps or games and now the device is stuffed full of things I don’t use. And by don’t use I mean apps I’ve never started or started once and then moved on to something else. It was time to take action and get rid of all the junk. The first thing to go were just about every Gameloft game I ever bought. I tossed out Iron Man, Spider Man and a bunch of others. I kept Let’s Golf 1 and 2 because I actually like those games. The rest are garbage. The next to go were some holder iPod apps. What the hell are those doing in there? There was actually more than one which is a little distressing. So those had to go.
