Pagoda Pandamonium – Crime City

I just updated Crime City so I’m already a day behind on this new event. I just build my Chinese Pagoda and the build time is 24 hours. Considering each upgrade will take an entire day there is obviously no way to finish in the time allotted without spending gold. However, it’s nice to have a new building again. I was just wondering when we might see something new. The last one was the Frosty Hideout from Christmas. At least you can get this without gold. $15 million is pretty high, but still in reach for a lot of people. Actually, I would like to see more high dollar buildings like this. I didn’t check, but I assume we can have two of these buildings? Oddly, I won’t be able to upgrade this damn thing for a couple days. AirDisk Pro Free for Today!

If you’ve ever needed to copy a file to or from the iPad, this is a must have app. And since it’s free, you absolutely need to download this one. I’ve had Airdisk Pro for several months and absolutely love it. It’s dead simple to use and makes transferring files so easy. Survival Craft is No. 1 in the App Store

Wow, this is very cool. Survival Craft was released just a few days ago and has already hit #1 in the App Store. This is ahead of venerable titles like Angry Birds, Temple Run and even Minecraft Pocket Edition. I love it when a small Dev comes out of nowhere and shoots to the top like this. The reviews are coming in strong and show Survival Craft to be a pretty worthy game. It’s not just a clone, but something a little different. They share common ground, but go in different directions. I haven’t picked up my copy yet, but I think I’ll have to jump on board. I enjoyed my Monecraft adventures of last night, even if a flaming zombie turned me into a funeral pyre. Survival Craft

Cinco de Mayo means Tequila and Minecraft!!

My epic battles in Crime City aren’t exactly going according to plan. I’ve been smited more time than I care to count and more explosives have blown up in my face than Daffy Duck. But that’s ok, it’s time to take a break and celebrate this Cinco de Mayo with the venerable glass (or two) of tequila and Minecraft. What do those have to with Cinco de Mayo or each other? Not a damn thing! But I’m sure my buildings skills can’t get any worse no matter how much I drink. I’m sure a tequila fueled fortress will be awesome! It’s time to grab a pick and an axe and punch some trees! I’m going to start from scratch, dig myself a hole in the mountain, call it home and do my best to survive the night. Mistakes will be made!!

In overtime I snag the Collector Cadillac – Crime City

To be honest, this even this event has been pretty lame, but then suddenly things took a turn. The event ended last night, but I pressed my luck and kept opening Construction Boxes. Low and behold I got 5 more to hit 15 and get the Collector Cadillac. The timing is pretty sweet since the Battle for Packer Heights just started. I’ll take that 300 attack bonus thank you very much! Now let’s see if I can use it to get above the Top 4000 this time around.
