Can’t get past the Happy Birthday stage in Bio Inc, Biomedical Plague

I’ve been trying and trying and I just can’t get past the Happy Birthday stage. No matter what path I take or the diseases and risk factors I unleash, my patient just won’t die! I have him on the roads, he’s riddled  with contagion and his systems are failing, but that miserable bastard just won’t die! I mean seriously, how do you come back from lung cancer, a stroke, failed kidneys and a destroyed digestive tract? But like a zombie, he always comes back. Has anyone else gotten past this level? What am I doing wrong? Where do I need to spend my points? Which disease combo is the right one? I get so damn close, but I need one more nail in his coffin to finish this off. I thought I was doing pretty well in the previous levels, but clearly I’m nowhere near as diabolical as I thought I was.

Any help?
