Some fun new titles hit the Steam Store while others go on Sale

Some interesting new titles are available on the Steam Store just in time for the weekend. First up, we have a new version of Gauntlet! For those of us who remember the 4 person standup coin game this could be good news! This was one of my favorites from back in the day and nothing has really come close to modeling that same experience. I’m not sure if the new Gauntlet is that game, but I’m still excited to see it out there. The game has just released so the votes are still coming in. For $20, let’s hope this is a steal of a title.

Anyone remember Moorhuhn? If you’re scratching you’re head just move on. But those who remember this from the old Johnnie Walker advertisement should be amused to hear there is another installment – Moorhuhn Tiger and Chicken. This wacky series has been around for years and they keep getting sillier with each iteration. Mind you, they’re still fun games with the right amount of action and difficulty to keep you coming back for more. This has just hit the store and I have no doubt it will be fun. You’re a chicken engaged in combat, what more do you want?

I just happen to write about golf games and The Golf Club goes on sale. There is a price drop of 25% which is always good. The graphics on this game look great so I might have to pick up a copy of this one. I’ve been waiting for a good golf game to come along and perhaps this is it. The trailer looks great, but again, the reviews are a bit mixed. Some say it amazing while others say it’s not finished. It’s hard to know how it really works, but this could be a good game at a good price.

While it may have been out for awhile, I just saw a new game called Blockscape. Since Minecraft has been sold off and the future is a bit unknown, now is a good time to look for a new way to dig, craft and explore. Blockscape may be that game. It looks pretty cool and has some more contoured graphics. The focus is more towards building and creating a village. Monsters and mobs are on the way so this looks to be a pretty cool title. The reviews are showing pretty positive so this might be a fun new game to play.

There are plenty of titles out there. The new Steam updates are revealing more and more games. The new recommendation system seems to be working pretty well.

Thanks for reading you majestic sausage.
