Dead Man’s Draw Rises Again in Tabletop Forms in a Successful Kickstarter Project

If you remember several months ago, Stardock put together a Kickstarter project to bring their Dead Man’s Draw card game to life. It’s a nice twist on card games that’s something different from poker and is available for both iOS and PC. It was so close to succeeding, but just missed the mark which was a damn shame. And that appeared to be the end of things. Until now. Stardock has regrouped and teamed up with Mayday Games to bring it to life and onto the table. Mayday has put together a Kickstarter project that’s already funded, so the game is a reality. The only thing left to do now is try to grab a copy. There are limited edition boxes available for $20, or you buy 2 copies for $35. If you’re feeling super frisky, you can grab 10 copies for $100 ($10 per game is damn cheap). This game is a lot of fun on the tablet and […]

Dead Man’s Draw from Stardock Comes to the PC by way of Steam

Stardock has just released a Windows based version of Dead Man’s Draw which they debuted on the iPad a few months ago. You can get the complete version with no in-app purchases all the Traits ready to play for $9.99 on Steam. I bought the iOS version and think it’s a brilliant game. The Traits and Tournaments make the game incredibly interesting with each player and their unique way to play. Also, trying to decide if it’s worth picking up the next card to improve your score or hit a combo can make for some nerve racking games. When Stardock first released Dead Man’s Draw, I wondered whether it would come out as a PC game. Well, here’s the answer. They’re deliver the game on Steam and it’s only $9.99. It just released a couple of hours ago and I’m off to buy a copy. Dead Man’s Draw on Steam How it Works Players take turns drawing cards in search […]

60 minutes and counting for Dead Man’s Draw

Now this has me nervous. There’s only an hour left in this campaign and still a few thousand dollars to raise. This is going to be very close. I know a lot of people wait until the very end before they pledge, but this is cutting it way too fine. I really hope people come together and bump up that number. It’ll be disappointing not to see this game come in physical form. It needs just a few more people to make it happen. Come on, throw in $5 bucks to help make this cool card game. It only needs a few more people to push this over the top. Who’s with me? Dead Man’s Draw – A Card Game of Risk and Reward

Only 3 Hours Left for Dead Man’s Draw on Kickstarter

We’re down to the wire now, only 3 hours left to pledge for this project. I’ve been playing this on the iPad for a few weeks now and enjoy the game immensely. It’s extremely simple to learn, but provides hours of entertainment. And it’s not just the same game over and over again. With the traits in play, you have almost infinite variety. Dead Man’s Draw was available for free just the other day so I hope you got a chance to download it and check it out. If you’re like me, you’d like to have a physical set of cards to play with as well. Here’s your chance, but only if we get a few more dollars in the kitty. This one is really doable and it only takes a few more people to come on board to make it happen. If you haven’t already, jump on over to Kickstarter and pick up a deck of cards. Dead Man’s […]

Dead Man’s Draw Free for a Limited Time

If you haven’t picked up a copy of this new card game, now’s your chance. The game is complete FREE to install. How frustrating since I paid $1.99 just a a week or so ago. But it’s money well spent since this is a simple but fun card game. I’ve had a lot of fun playing this game and have made quite a bit of progress. There is a lot of variation to the games and the traits can make for some very unique game play. And while I’m no fan of in-app purchases, I haven’t find it to be a real problem with this game. I’m just rolling along, getting gold, refilling traits and doing my best to get 3 stars in each tournament. Overall, I really like this game and enjoy it immensely. It’s well worth the $1.99, so you need to jump all over this since it’s Free! Dead Man’s Draw by Stardock
