You really need to get over to Steam and check out the sales

Oh my goodness, would you look at all the stuff on sale at Steam! I thought the previous sales were outrageous! You can pick up Grid: Autosport for $13. You can snag SpinTires for $10. You can get Rise of Nations for $5. You can get the Age of Empires II HD bundle for $8.50. And there is all sorts of DLC and Expansion Packs on sale. It makes me dizzy scrolling through the list! Just about everything is on sale. If you need some new games to play, jump over there and load up that cart! Hell, I just picked up the Golf Club for a fraction of the release price!

It’s time to break out your wallets and head over to the Steam Holiday Sale

Don’t put that wallet away just yet, Steam has kicked off their holiday sale and there is an enormous selection of games on sale. This will run through the New Year (Jan 2) and already includes hundreds of games and will rotate through a huge part of their catalog. Lots of games in my Wishlist are on sale like Gauntlet, Flockers, The Golf Club, Life is Feudal just to name a few. And on the main page games like Next Car Game, Grid Autosport and all the DLC, Road Redemption, SpinTires, Batman, the Total War series, Nancy Drew titles, Kerbal Space Program, Terreria and Assetto Corsa just to hit a couple of highlights. The amount of titles on sale is pretty damn staggering. Big Game Sale Going On at Steam!

If you haven’t checked it out, head over to Steam and check out some of the big sales they have going on. If you’re into racing now is the time to buy with Grid Autosport on sale for $13.59 and Next Car Game Wreckfest for $14.99 and the mud-slinging, gear grinding adventures of SpinTires for $10.19. There are tons of others on sale as well. From the look of things, damn near 5,800 games have a discount going right now. If you’re looking for something new, head over there before prices jump around again.

Black Friday Deals for O&O Software Products. 50% Off Entire Catalog

The Black Friday Specials are coming in faster than I can read/delete them. A couple of good ones caught my eye like the entire O&O Software catalog on sale for 50% Off. That is a pretty sweet deal considering it covers O&O Defrag, O&O DiskImage, O&O SafeErase and others. These guys make some really good software not only to keep your system running smoothly, but to resurrect it from the dead if something goes wrong. O&O DiskImage is a personal favorite of mine to take snapshots of the entire drive so all I have to do is boot from the Recovery CD and restore the image. I’ve actually had to do this more than once and it’s incredibly easy to use and restored all my files perfectly. SpinTire for Sale on Steam – 40% Off

Here’s something for the holidays (yes, Halloween is a holiday!) SpinTires is on sale at Steam for 40% Off. This brings the price down to $17.99 from the regular $30. That’s not too shabby. If you haven’t seen SpinTires, it’s an offroad adventure full of heavy duty military trucks converted to the logging business. The goal is to explore the map, carry out tasks (such as loading lumber) and not get stuck. The getting stuck part is probably the hardest to avoid. Now, before we get too far, this is indeed a slow paced game. This isn’t racing. Not only is the top speed a mere crawl since you’re in an 8 wheeled transport rig, but the terrain is insanely difficult, full of trees, rivers and mud that will try to swallow you whole.
