Cinco De Mayo

In retrospect, celebrating Cinco de Mayo at the local Mexican restaurant during the lunch rush probably did not border on genius. Have to admit though, they had all the troops out there, the crowd was just overwhelming. Perhaps next time we’ll celebrate with burgers and fries.

Microwaving the iPad 3G

I guess this guy is getting exactly what he wants, but I still don’t understand the point of spending all that money on an iPad and then destroying the damn thing. Clearly I’m in the wrong damn business. I wish I could afford to throw away $800 in the name of "art". It’s kind of cool in a strange way how it hisses and crackles then finally hits the flashpoint and bursts into flames. For those who want to get to the good stuff, jump to 6:30, the flames shoot out shortly thereafter. I wish one of these crazed bastards would give me an iPad instead of destroying it. If it were $0.99 again I would snatch it up without thinking, but […]

1,000,000 iPads in 27 days

Since HP and Microsoft handed over the tablet market to Apple this weekend, just in time for the release of the iPad 3G, people flocked to the fruit stand and bought fruit baskets in droves. In just 27 days Apple has sold over a million iPads. That’s twice as fast as the iPhone. I wonder how many of those 300,000 sales were frustrated HP and MS holdouts? No matter what you think of Apple, those are some impressive damn numbers! 1,000,000 iPads in 27 days
