Crime City Hit Lists Event Rewards

From what I can tell here are the list of Rewards for the Hit Lists Event. This is pretty close to what I’ve gotten although some of the stats are a little different. They may change depending on your level. The final reward is the Hitman’s Shotgun with 2200A, 2000D. That is one hell of a weapon. I’ve made it to Goal 20, but the time needed to complete each one is getting longer and longer. The Energy and Stamina deplete a lot faster as you go on. I show 2D:18H left on the clock so I should be able to make it through a few more goals. I’m sure some of the gold spenders have busted their way through this one. If you did spend gold on this event, at least you’d know what you were getting. I hope we see another event like this come along. I like the “predictability” of this one. GOAL 1 :Tap on pookie […]

Survival Craft and Minecraft top the AppStore

There must be a resurgence to play in the dirt, Survival Craft and Minecraft are the Top 2 apps in the AppStore. That’s some pretty good entertainment for around $10. I haven’t grabbed either of these games yet since I’ve renewed my own digging in the dirt with the PC version. I’ve just completed my wheat and sugar cane farms. There’s an abandoned mine shaft that needs investigation and I have a glass greenhouse to make, Still, it’s very cool these two apps are topping the charts. It’s nice to see something besides Angry Birds.

Crime City Hit Lists

A new event has just popped up, The Crime City Hit Lists – How many jobs can you pull off in the time allotted? The Godfather has put out a list of 40 hits that need to be taken care of and jobs that need to be done. There are 4 days to complete as many as possible with a reward after each one is finished. It quite literally starts off at the beginning back in East Side and moves forward. Some of the jobs include fighting rivals, robbing laundromats and defeating law enforcement like Agent Stone. It’s the same jobs we’ve done before, but this time it’s against the clock. They start off easy, but it’s not going to last. Energy, Stamina and Time are going to run out. How much can you get done and how much gold are you willing to spend? The clock is officially ticking….

Posts by Pico – A WordPress Blogging Tool for the iPad Free for Today

I know very little of this app except that it interested me and I bookmarked it for notification of price drop. Well, today is that day. And what a price drop it is. Posts has dropped in price from it’s regular hefty price tag of $9.99 to Free for today. That’s an impressive $10 savings isn’t it? I’ve just downloaded the app and hooked it to my site. The articles come down in little thumbnail images across a timeline of when they were published. From the description the editor allows HTML editing, comments can be processed through the app, posts can be written and stored until you get back online, different blog accounts are supported, you can control image width and height and it hooks into WordPress and Blogger. The interface is reminiscent of Blogger+, which is an iPad app I bought quite some time, thought was quite good, but has sadly been discontinued. I always thought $9.99 was too […]

A forced upgrade to Windows 8

Because of an foreseen and ultimately catastrophic computer screw up I had to reimage my work machine and start over. To add to the misery of losing an entire day of work I realized I couldn’t reinstall back to Windows 7 and would have to use the new corporate standard of Windows 8. This did not make me happy. Like Windows 7, the install was quite quick (it took longer than normal because this was a custom build that also included Office 2013) and in short order the new OS was up and running. First off it presented me with a cartoon representation of Seattle and the Space Needle. Ok, now what? After starting at the screen waiting for it to do something, I realized this is the new logon screen. I thought it was still installing. Apparently the Ctrl-Alt-Delete that we’ve used since NT 3.1 isn’t there. Ok fine, a different way to log in so be it. So […]
