Beat The Elite – Archie Bollocks – Epic Boss Event – Crime City

Now this is something odd, there are two events running at the same time within Crime City. The Military Case is still going, of which I have 9 Walkie Talkies and am desperately hoping number 10 comes along before time expires, but now we have the Archie Bollocks Epic Boss Event. I didn’t know the game would actually support this so it’s pretty cool. It took a long time for this event to show up and my first two attacks have produced lame results. I got the Punk Plaid Pants and the Toxic Razer. This is almost as bad as the dozens of Enhanced Bikes and Carnival Sledgehammers I’ve gotten in the other event.Seriously, how many Enhanced Bikes do I need? Can Gree swap out the weapons from time to time? There will be plenty to do this weekend, most of which will be opening boxes and hoping to score that M32-Thumper. Power Racer from the Daily Scratcher

Like everyone else, I’ve used the daily scratcher since I first started the game. At the lower levels it’s nice boost to get the Scorpion Knife or a $100,000 bundle, but it gets old pretty quick. Today my luck changed. This is the first high level item I’ve gotten from the Scratcher – the Power Racer. Combine this with the new Quick Blaster from the Battle for Empire City and I scored a nice 500+ attack bonus. Not a bad start to the day or looting and pillaging.

Well, the Battle for Empire City Sucked A##

It was touch and go in the beginning with hopes of hitting the top 1500, but it all went to crap at the end as the points slipped away and we lost battle after battle. It’s not really the battle’s lost that was bothersome, it’s the points that weren’t gained. So many missed opportunities. If there had been a more coordinated effort, a Top 1500 spot might have been in the cards. At least we didn’t come in dead last which is always good. We were on the tote board so we get a little something for the effort. And for those that didn’t answer the call to arms? They will be sleeping with the fishes…. Time to prepare for the next event and fill out that skill tree. I will come bearing massive sacks full of cash! (Relatively speaking)

New Military Case and Walkie Talkie Event – Crime City

The embers from the Battle for Empire City as still burning, but it’s time to move to the Military Case Event. This is a 10 item event which I prefer with the top prize being a M-32 Thumper Rifle with 1873A and 965D. A pretty sweet weapon in it’s own, but add in that it has 40% more Respect From Fights and it’s a real beauty! My luck with getting 10 items is pretty piss poor, especially when the big prize is like this baby. At least we didn’t get screwed on time and have 5 days to open as many cases as possible and collect as many Walkie Talkies as we can. My first try was a big BLNT so I’m not off to a good start. Plenty of time left so hopefully I can pull this out. I was denied on the last event and the one before that, so maybe I’m due. Think I can get anywhere […]

Happy Tax Day!!

Here it is, April 15th, the last day for filing taxes. Perhaps you get a little something back, perhaps you have to pay a little extra. All I have to say is I hope the government chokes on the check I sent them.
